Receptionist Position Southlake Orthopaedics has an opening for a full time medical receptionist at our Hoover location, which is a busy and very fast paced clinic. The position is Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate should be courteous, professional, organized, engaging, and friendly. The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of experience in a medical setting and must possess a strong attention to detail, have the ability to multi-task and be service-oriented. Our steady growth into the area has created a challenging career opportunity for a part-time Physical Therapy Technician to assist the clinical and administrative staff in all functions. Some of the specific functions you will be required to perform per your supervisor from the therapy staff or the office staff are as follows: observing patients during prescribed exercise routines, laundry, cleaning treatment tables and rooms after patient use, filing patient charts, and making copies of home exercise programs and progress notes.
Desired Skills & Qualifications •Degree in, or currently pursuing degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field preferred. •Must possess the ability to relate and work well with patients, peers, and supervisors. •Must possess exceptional communication skills.
Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vitals and recording all documentation. Coordinate reports, labs and all information filed in EHR. Assist in clinical procedures under supervision. Exceptional customer service skills. MA certification. Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections.
